Domestic Maple Parquet Floor

This Maple Parquet block floor was very uneven; it required major sanding starting from a rough 24 grit paper and finishing on a 120 grit paper.

Granwood Block Floor

This Granwood block floor had extensive stains on it, caused by oil spillage which had to be sanded out. Once we had sanded the floor to the required finish 2 coats of primer was applied to seal the wooden floor, this prevented any reaction to the 2 coats of polyurethane floor seal that was then used to give the floor the finish required by the customer.

Small Office Floor

The carpet tiles that had been removed from this office floor had left behind an extremely thick layer of adhesive, this had to be removed with a 16 grit extra rough sanding belt, once removed normal sanding with finer papers was resumed.

The Rising Sun, Palm Court

The Rising Sun, Palm Court restaurant was a particularly challenging floor to restore. The boards were very badly rafted well worn and needed repair work in places, a lot of sanding was required to level the boards, and we used new state of the art Kunzle & Tasin belt sanders for this.
